This walk will guide participants from Wan Chai through Admiralty and Central to Sheung Wan, with a focus on the stairs and cultural landscape heritage of the Taipingshan neighborhood. Traversing secret shortcuts, secluded stairs, and in-between spaces which are only privy to those ‘in the know’, many parts of the beginning of this route are surprising to the visitor, or even the average local resident who, according to the Highways and Transport Departments, rarely walks distances longer than 300m. The walk will also share some history and stories about key features, stairs, and buildings along the route.
這次步行將引領參與者由灣仔到金鐘、中環再到上環聚焦太平山社區的樓梯和文化景觀遺產。遊走於只有少數「知情人士」懂得的神秘捷徑、隱蔽樓梯和中 間空間，此路線的開始部份不單止會不時帶給參與者 驚喜，即使對於那裏的居民來說也可能同樣新鮮：根據路政署，他們甚少行走超過三百米。沿途，我們也 將分享關於這路線上的特點、樓梯、建築物的歷史和故事。
