19 May, 2017 18:30 - 20:00
Game Talks Hong Kong | 香港遊戲漫談
Panel Discussion | 專題討論會
Moderator | 主持 Mela Kocher
Speakers | 講者 Stanley Leung, Peter Nelson, and Stefan Schmidlin
In this panel, we will look behind the curtain of public play: from a designer-oriented perspective, what are the differences between urban games and video games? With concrete examples, we will discuss challenges, obstacles, and chances in this game branch. From a more academic point of view, we will discuss playful strategies to reframe societal systems in relation to the physical environment, in order to gain new perceptions and conceptions of space.
